Booking Terms

Last updated: 30 September 2026. These terms apply to escape-room bookings at Exit Experience Mainz. Individually arranged mobile events are subject to the respective quotation.

ORGANISER AND BOOKINGS

The organiser is The Great Escape GmbH, Hanauer Landstraße 340, 60314 Frankfurt am Main, represented by Julien Sotir. The game venue is Dammweg 7a, 55130 Mainz. A reservation becomes binding when we issue our booking confirmation. The room, date, number of participants and price are specified in that confirmation.

PRICES AND PLAYING TIME

The total prices shown during booking apply and include VAT. Choose 60 or 90 minutes of playing time during booking. The 90-minute option costs an additional €5 per person. Payment methods and when payment is due are stated during booking.

Children aged 10 and under pay €18 each when accompanied by at least one adult. All players must be included in the participant count. Any necessary price adjustment is made at the venue.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the booked start time. Use the cancellation option in your booking confirmation or email kontakt@escapefrankfurt.de. The time we receive your cancellation determines whether it is within the deadline. Payments already made will be refunded for cancellations received on time.

Free cancellation is not available for later cancellations or no-shows. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. Rescheduling and changes to team size must be agreed with us and only apply once we have confirmed them.

ARRIVAL AND PARTICIPATION

Please arrive 15 minutes before your game for the briefing. Allow enough time for travel and parking. Late arrival may reduce your remaining playing time. Players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Follow your game host's instructions and treat the equipment with care. Anyone whose use of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour, puts safe operation at risk may be excluded from the game. Please contact us before booking if you have questions about accessibility or whether a room is suitable for your group.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Vouchers are subject to their stated value and the redemption conditions given at purchase. An available game time must be booked separately. The optional extension to 90 minutes is also available with voucher bookings for the relevant supplement. Statutory rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal when purchasing a voucher, remain unaffected.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR FIXED GAME DATES

Under section 312g(2), no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for leisure services booked for a specific date. Our free cancellation policy up to 48 hours before the game applies independently of this. The exception for fixed dates does not automatically extend to undated vouchers.
